I was shocked he said everyday he crys you don't pick him up I was to shocked to say a word. I just walked in the room too. He went to the office and said who is in charge here my boss had just left so another teacher was in the office he said they don't take care of my baby and they let him cry all the time they pick up all the babys but ricky. (not true) he pointed at me too!! He said we should not be paid we do nothing. He said he wanted to talk to the boss tommorow not monday he was sooooo pissed. He was so rude to me I cryed all night. I take good care of those babys ricky is spoiled so he crys when u put him down I was walking around with him before the uncle came. The other girl should of picked him up while I was gone so now I got cused out! I work in the nursery 1200 till 600 ricky crys with all the teachers not just me. He said everyday he crys we do nothing he said he never would complain till now. Ok 10 kids 2 teachers we do our best we feed them all and changed there diapers every 2 hours we do are very best its not a easy job. Do you think I deserved to be cused out?? I take good care of ricky he just walked in at the wrong time. I know I won't be in trouble with my work they know he crys a llot too. That man just hurt my feelings Crying

No, I think that any parent who puts there kid in a day care where there is ten kids and two adults needs to expect that. If they wanted their child to never cry than they should find a private day care person to watch him. Also it's probably seperation anxiety and in that case there's not a whole lot you can do. I personally won't let any of my kids go in a day care like that because iknow how it is. I also worked in one before and I didn't like how the babies would cry and the adults couldn't really do anything about it. So yeah, I don't think he had the right to do that when his brother was the one who choose that day care. What do you expect when there's two adults and ten babies?

We had a long talk after I posted this and we decided for now just to be good friends and date around some. My aunt said that michael isn't the only guy in the whole world and she's right but for the longest time he was to me and maybe it's better that I find out how he really is now than further down the line if I get stuck with him. Blah..Thanks girlies!

I Know What You Mean, Heres My Mean Parent Experience!!!!lol
Posted: 11-08-04 11:25am

I was a pre-kindergarten teacher for about 1.5 years. I had a parent one time come in cuz their child had diarehia (sp? You know what I mean) you know the rules to water bowel movements and they have to go home.....Well when I called her and told her she had to come she had a fit. Well when she got there she dug through our trash cans, with her bare hands threw garbage all over our floor, and found the watery mess (she had told me to throw her panties away) and she told me thats not diarehia, thats just how she poops. Well I told told her until she had medical documentation stating that, jada would not be allowed to return. She threw the panties on the floor and left, needless to say we never saw them agian. Lol, just thought I would share my mean parent experience.

Callie8323,

it will be okay. I worked at a daycare before and the parents always try to find something to nag and pick on. You are doing the best that you can. With a 10 to 2 ratio you cant hold everyone right. And like you said if they dont like it then they will leave. People who act over protective like that will never be happy any where. Actually it is good for a bay to cry it builds the childs lungs. Dont worry go to work and have a nice day. Leave it up to the director to handle it. That is why they are there. Smile

Goodluck to you. I think if someone has a problem like that they should handle it with the proper person in charge and not take it out on the poor workers there at the time. Someone else gets paid a lot more to be the boss and they should be the ones handling the irate parents.
I commend anyone who gives their all to help take care of other people's children. Keep up your good work and don't let him get to you. Some people seem to think "their" child is "better" than everyone else's and should be treated better instead of equal.....

The ironicy of the situation is that he put his baby in a day care if he was so concerned about his baby then take care of him. I for one believe in the stay home mom or dad theory although in some cases that's just not possible but he shouldn't complain so much if he himself isn't doing the greatest job
