I think about is it the time in my life, I
want to go to college. I think it was
something that my girl jessamyn said, that
made me really realize, I didn't want to
try again after I lost my baby due to a
miscarriage. I still walk through the
baby isle saying...Adam, kristin wants a
baby...But its the time that I walk
through the baby isle and say, adam
kristin wants to be a parent...That is
going to be make the difference.

Oh, I wish I knew how to get rid of it!!
I've had baby fever since I was in eighth
grade when my sis got preggy...And I still
want one!! The missed periods in between
haven't helped any, though! Instead of
scaring me out of it, they made me want
one even more!!!! I don't think i'm gonna
wait much longer...Unless I have to! I
still gotta get chris to
agree...Hehehe...
I was going to maybe start thinking about
having kids when I was 30. Now, my kid
will be graduating high school when i'm
36. I've never had baby fever until I
got pregnant, and I don't think i'll ever
have it again.

Chanda and gaby, I definitely understand
what you are going through. Everytime I
went through a hard point in my life,
especially when it involved family, I
would catch baby fever. I guess I felt
like nobody really loved me so I wanted to
make someone who would and someone I could
love back. And plus babies being so cute
don't help! But I will tell you now, it
is the greatest, worst, happiest, saddest,
agonizing, ecstatic thing you will ever go
through. It has so many ups and downs.
Pregnancy isn't even bad compared to the
real thing. I had the easiest pregnancy
in the world, so I didn't get a real
wake-up call until he was born. It is so
amazing when they are born and you love
them with every little piece of yourself,
but it's not until you get home, and they
are crying, and you have changed their
diaper, fed them, burped them, dressed and
undressed them and rocked them and they
are still screaming and you don't know
what's wrong is when it really hits you.
And that's the easy part, when they are
young. Basically, they wake up, you feed
change and burp them, then rock them back
to sleep. But as they get older they need
toys, and constant supervision, and they
get bored and fuss for you to play so you
get nothing else done. And then they
start throwing tantrums at 7 months old,
and you don't know whether to discipline
them or not or even how to do it. People
telling you what to do and how to do it.
Saying don't feed them mac n cheese when
they like t and do just fine. Plus, you
go to school and work a job and feel like
a failure cuz it seems you never have
enough time for them. And it makes it so
much harder when dad walks away, and you
are emotionally devastated and feel like
you will never make it. Even though you
know you will. Don't get me wrong, I love
joshua and wouldn't trade him for the
world, but I miss being a kid. I miss
picking up and taking off. I miss reading
books and watching tv, I miss sleeping and
being lazy! Please think long and hard
about this girls, especially you gaby, I
know I am your age, but thats why I am
telling you this, because i've been there
and I know. You are not ready. So just
wait, and I promise you will enjoy it so
much more.
i miss picking up and taking
off. I miss reading books and watching
tv, I miss sleeping and being
lazy
i don't even do that now cuz I always have
the kids or someone elses so that isn't
much bother to me. I dunno. I'm not
saying I want one. I'm not saying I
don't. I'm not saying anything.
