Hi all, I posted this in the anxiety forum too so save yourself a long read if you read it there...Lol.
Anyway my problems started back in june when I was driving down the road and I felt my heart speed up and was shaky and had this intense fear that I was going to die. (my husband wanted to talk about some things from the past that were really painful for me about 2 days before this happened) from that point on about once a week I would get this feeling. Gradually it went to pressure in my chest and numbness in my left arm. I have been to the emergency room and had multiple ekg's run and blood work done with everything being fine. I am scheduled for a stress test in 2 weeks. Anyway, this sick feeling right below my rib cage and the chest pressure (not horrible) and either pain or numbness in my left arm is almost everyday on and off. Today has been a good day with little pain. Oh and sharp stabbing pains on each side of my chest. Lots of muscle soreness in the shoulders and back. Could this be heart related or is this anxiety? Just need some ideas. Thanks alot for any help.

It could very likely just be anxiety. It sounds like you have a lot of muscle tension in some areas. Hopefully this isn't heart related but you should get it checked out anyways. Take care! :)

I recommend that you get a halter monitor test for a minimum of one week.

This will check your heart to ensure everything is okay.

However, I do beleive it is stress related, but the halter monitor will prove yes or no.

God bless
