Missing Period ... Maybe the Pill? Posted: 11-08-04 19:56pm


I stopped taking the pill at the end of my last cycle in mid september and haven't had another since. I was hoping someone could give me any information as to whether this is a common problem, or possible pregnancy is more likely. I have taken several at home tests, all of which have come up negative, but my doctors office seems to think that the lack of a period is not likely to be from going off the pill. Thank you.

It could be pregnancy, especially if you are trying to get pregnant. Your body reacts differently to all changes. Starting b/c, stopping b/c, even stress and many other things can mess your cycle up. If you think your pregnant, just take care of yourself until you find out for sure.
