Hello, recently I have decided to try smoking pot. I just wanted to know, if smoking pot will bring down the efficiency of the birth control pill. Aka, will it cause it to not be absorbed properly? I had sex today (2nd pill of new pack), and im worried that I might become pregnant. Also, why i'm on this forum, do any of you people think its a bad idea to just rely on the pill to not become pregnant? They say its 99% effective, and I take it at the exact same time every day.....Should I worry about getting pregnant? Thanx to anyone who can help me! Sincerely, chewy_mango

I know many womyn who use the pill and pot and are fine. I cant imagine wit would have any effect except parinoia that it has an effect. relying on the pill is like you said, 99 percent effective. Taking it at the same time is good. Hey that reminds me.. Darkv
