my utrasoud results, I am scared, please help.

I was just given the results from my ultrasound. Multiple ovarian cysts, numerous inutero fibroids and a severly enlarged uterus. There is a history of ovarian cancer in my family as well as breast cancer.
I went to the county hospital for this and I am waiting for them to send me an appointment.

I am scared and would like to know where else I could get information on this including proper diagnosis, treatment options as well as supportive chat rooms. Also, If anyone has advice on how to ask questions to my doctor, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Kim

I also found during a check up that I had a grapefruit sized tumor in the one ovarie surgery was scheduled within a week and a complete hysterectomy was done. Once inside they saw that the other ovary had a tumor in it. Both came back no cancer. I say go into this with one thing in mind if there are masses whether they are cancerous or not they need to be removed. I am so pleased with my surgery and the healing was easier than I thought it would be. Surgery was on monday and came home on wednesday. 24 yr old daughter stayed with me to help with household stuff while her dad worked and her brother 12 went to school. She did cooking cleaning etc so I could rest and mend and within a week I was back to normal lol hope this helps
