Got Off Af Last Week! But This Week Extremely Sore Boobs... Posted: 10-16-03 10:52am
Hello everyone and good morning,
i have a question, please help?
Last week I got off my a/f, on the 8th, it
is a week after my af and my boobies are
extremely sore, in the beginning of the
week I freaked out cause I had excessive
white discharge (has never happened
before) and it is neither itchy nor
smelly. My boobs usually sore a week
before my a/f, but not right after. Of
course I couldn't be pregnant because I
just had my af, but it is possible so get
pregnant a week before you af and get
normal bleeding?
I didn't think anything up until, this
happened this week. I said there is no
way I can be pregnant if I just off my af,
but my boobs are sore too early and my
discharge is really heavy for days. I
don't understand what could be happening,
my af isn't due until 2 more weeks and a
half, and my boobs don't start hurting
until a week before af, and I never
discharge this much so early into the
cycle.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Good morning!
I too got sore boobs on day 15 (which is
way too early for it to be pms symptoms).
They were extremely sore for about 8 days
and now it has gone away. It is still to
early to take a pregnancy test so i'm not
sure why they were hurting but I just
thought I would let you know that someone
else out there is experiencing the same
thing!

Well this morning I was having lower back
pains, it feels as if i'm getting my af,
but I just got off my af a week ago.
This has never happened before.

it's still too early to take a pregnancy
test. I think the earliest I can take
one is sunday, so, i'll let you know!
How soon can you take a test? Are you
trying to get pregnant?

Now this is getting out of control!
I'm a healthy young woman, but last night
while watching
(the game) I got extremely light headed,
so I decided to
have a sandwich because I assumed it was
because I didn't
eat since lunch. After I ate, it only
got worse, I went to sleep
at 2:30 because everytime I tried to close
my eyes it felt as
if I was drunk. Don't take medication
and I don't drink, didn't take aspirin I
ate, and it never happened to me before.
So I freaked out, I was sooo dizzy that I
was starting to get nauseaus I had to lay
down for a few hrs
until I was fell asleep.
This morning my head feels a little light.
My boobs are so sore.
And I just had my period last week!!!!
Help what is going on??!!!
Is that a pregnancy sign?

How heavy was your period last week?
Lightheadness and dizziness like that is
definitely a sign of pregnancy, especially
along with the sore boobs. The reason
that I ask how heavy was your period last
week is because do you think you could be
pregnant from last month and what you
thought was your period last week was just
bleeding from the egg implanting in the
uterus (which by the way is normal with
pregnancy)? It just seems way too early
for you to be having pregnancy syptoms if
you had a "real" period last week.
You may should call your doctor if you
don't think you are pregnant because being
dizzy like that can be dangerous - you
need to find out what is causing it.

That is exactly my issue, my period came a
few days late, but it was normal, it
lasted 5 days, with heaviness on the first
2 days. I was so scared last night over
that. The dizziness was heavy and that's
why I ate but that only made it worse.
This so weird because my boobs are very
swollen and sore, this never happens also
after my period. I had cramping in the
morning yesterday and white discharge.
But I guess I will have to go to the
doctor. I'm hoping that I would know
someone tha has gone through this before.
It's scary.

No, I did not take a test yesterday. I
am going to get a test today and I am
going to take it in the morning. It may
be too early to tell but I am still going
to take one (see, i'm irregular and I
could start anywhere from this coming
wednesday to this coming sunday). I'll
let you know first thing in the morning!
Sorry that you are still hurting! I had quit hurting
for a few days but now I am sore again?!

Babygirl,
from what I have read, I don't think
you're pregnant. I think the reason your
breasts are sore is because your hormones
are fluxuating. I went through the same
thing awhile ago and was not pregnant. I
had sore breasts about 1 week after I
stopped my period. They didn't feel
better until after I started my next
period. Every woman goes through
hormonal changes. This could also be
what's causing your
dizziness/lighheadedness.

I took a test this morning and it was
negative. It still could be too early to
take one. I think gclairew had a good
point though about the hormone thing.
That's probably what is happening with
both of us since started happening so
close after our periods!

update!!!!
Oh my god! Guys guys guys!
This morning I took an hpt (ept test)
..............
I got a dark dark +++++++++++++
what what! I was freaking out, I started
crying, but somehow I knew deep inside
that I was.
I believe that I must've gotten pregnant
last month right before my period! The
reason why I decided to take a test was
because I started getting dizzy again and
my boobs are swollen and very tender, and
I noticed getting really dark spots on my
nipples, plus a lot of discharge, so they
say it's better to do the first morning
urine, calculating from the time that I
could've gotten preggie I think i'm 3 1/2
weeks, and did not have an issue with the
hpt, it was dark.
Guys I need your support your replies, i'm
excited but scared, I feel different and
can't believe this is happening to me, i'm
23 yrs old with a boyfriend, but I can't
believe it.
I'm calling my obgyn after 10am to make an
appointment. And I highly doubt that is
it a false positive.

appointment with the doctor yet? Have
you told your boyfriend yet? Girl,

9 months and the moment you lay eyes on
her/him you are going to fall in love! I

I can't even type i'm so nervous, i'm not
concentrating at work.
And yes my boyfriend knows and at first he
said whatt! But he's very excited now,
and he was trying to calm me down, cause I
was crying. Then he asked why am I
crying that I shouldn't be sad, but i['m
not, this is something new for me this is
a whole life changing expirience. I'm
even leaving work early. My doc actually
told me to go as soon as I can, made an
appt, I for tomorrow. God I knew there
was something unusual with me, when you're
in tune with your body and something weird
starts going on along with sore boobs,
don't hesitate, and if you can't wait take
a blood test. Because I was starting to
believe it was something, up until the
dizziness again along with a little
nauseauness. My boyfriend would tell me
that he was having dreams about me being
pregnant aswell, it is soo weird.
Thanks so much irobert for your advice and
everybody else. But keep on taking those
tests and I still want to know.
But I wanna make sure everything's ok, and
start taking care of myself.
Next part is my mother. I'm a little
nervous about her because she believes in
marriage first, so do I but this came
unplanned. Well I guess everything's
that's meant to be will be.

That is so great that your boyfriend is
excited b/c there are a lot of guys that
aren't like that! He will make a great
father! Let me know how your mom takes
it. She may be a little shocked at first
but soon after she will be so excited that
she will be a grandmother! Let me know

congratulations!!!!!! Boy was I
wrong...Lol. I know you may be scared
now, but before you know it, you'll be
anxious to go shopping for baby things!
Please keep us posted! I'd love to hear
what the doctor has to say about how far
along you are. Most of the time, when
there is a questionable conception date,
they'll do an ultrasound to see how far
you are. It's so exciting to see you're
little miracle on the screen!
