Strange Abdominal Pain
Posted: 11-12-04 16:53pm

Whenm I eat meat or anything fatty/fried I get severe stomache aches that even go around to my back -- they usually last 6 hours and heating pads aren't working anymore I have to get in the tub for hours with the water as hot as I can stand it just to tolerate the pain -- does anyone know what this could be?

Because it happens when you eat fatty food, I would lean towards maybe the gallbladder. Go to a gi doc and have an ultrasound and a hida scan to check for gallbladder problems. I had a poorly functioning gallbladder, but no stones and just had surgery on nov. 4. Good luck, it took them 4 years to find out what was wrong with me.
