I was on the pill yasmin for four months
when my period started early. As soon as
it started I discontinued use of the pill,
but it's been three weeks and i'm still
seeing my period. I won't be able to
visit my gynecologist until next month, so
I was hoping that someone could give me
some advice. I would really appreciate
it.

Well, since you were only on it for four
months i'd say you were experiencing
breakthrough bleeding (quite normal when
starting a pill) why'd you stop taking
your pills? My guess is that because you
stopped taking them you began your pill
induced period (whihc is diff. From a
normal one) and then becaus eyou didn't
begin them again in a week your body
started it's normal period which due to
the lack of hormones is lasting longer
then normal. It could stop very soon or
it may not, it's hard to say. If you
want, i'd say begin taking the pill sagain
if you plan to continue using them and
just wait for your body to get back on
track.

Thanks for the reply...I didn't stop
taking the pills until after my period
started, so I really don't know what the
problem is, but thanks for the
suggestion...I'll try sagain and pray it
works...
