I was just wondering to all those who
know, when the bub is born and her dad on
the certificate, does that mean he has all
rights to her? If I dont put him
on...Does that mean I wouldnt get child
support from him? Hmm I dunno....Let me
know!

Woohoo! A topic I know about!!
In july, my boyfriend and I had a falling
(weirdly enough, we are ok now lol) out
and he threatened to take my son away from
me. Since he is on the birth cert. He
has equal rights to him. So if he ran off
with him and never came back, I couldnt do
crap! Vice versa for me. I never knew
that! I always thought differently. I
thought by having him on there it proved
he was the father and stuff. If you don't
put him on there, then he can not leave
with him and never come back. Serious
trouble if he does that. Considered
kidnapping or something. I had my son's
dad put on there because he is the father.
But since we went to court for this and
had child support issued and
visitations...We are both pretty much
still equal rights. I live in fort worth,
tx (same as him) and neither one of us is
allowed to move to a county not touching
tarrant county. (this is temp until
nicolas is born and then its all final)

their name on the cert. Then they get
