I am leaking, its mostly clear but there
is blood as well.
I have added another pad to the dressing
but it still worries me.
I dunno maybe she didn't fasten the
dressing on as low as usual (she is trying
to avoid sticking it to hair) so maybe
that is why it is leaking through at the
bottom.
Either way, it is still worrying. Ok time
to be positive, if it is leaking ooze then
that is good because it is not staying
inside where it could form an abcess so
better out than in. Still a bit scared
though.

Im sure that your ok, if its clear, it
shouldnt be infected, and if its leaking,
that means its cleaning itself, and of
course there is gonna be blood, its a
wound... Its probably from the way she
wrapped ya.

I didn't call the doctor cuz it isn't
gushing and I have daily appointments at
the hospital anyway so I figured I would
gently ooze for another couple of hours
and just go in to my scheduled appt.
Mommax3 I have an open wound from my
hysterectomy because when they took my
staples out - I split wide open and lots
of gunk and pus flooded out, the wound
wasn't suitable to restitch (although they
may cut the edges and stitch at a later
date) so I am healing by being packed and
dressed, so the wound heals from the
inside first. So far my healing has been
going good but today it has leaked under
the dressing and I am thinking maybe the
sister just stuck the drssing on a bit
higher than before (she is kindly trying
to avoid too much sticky on my pubes cuz
man that hurts to pull off) and beccause
it was a bit higher that is why stuff has
seeped under.
I have stuck a spare pad under and stuck
it on so that is absorbing everything for
now.

Ahh kia, ive really gotta stop reading
your posts when im eating!! I dont know
why I keep doing this to myself! I know
its gonna be about puss and blood and
such, but I still open it and start
reading away, chewin a mouth full of
cereal, then readin across a nasty part,
and tryin to gag down the food

The sister took one look after I told her
and she said "oh good it's all nice and
clean and healing really well", so it was
just the wound cleaning it self and partly
cuz I had been half laying on my tummy it
let it all drain out.
So i'm good and clean and still healing
well. Yippee
