Pcos is a relatively newly discovered
syndrome. It has alot to do wwith the
endocrine system, and it's a wise idea to
see an endocrinologist to help with the
treatment. The polycystic ovaries are
one manifestation of this syndrome.
Anyways, there's a very excellent website
that talks an awful lot about it, offers
support, gives resources to find doctors,
etc it's:
http://www.Pcosupport.Org/
it will say more than I can in one post.
But are you concerned that you're pregnant
because you've not had a period it a long
time? Also I just re-read your post and
your doctor making that assessment while
you were 12 or 13 suggests to me to get a
second opinion, that's awfully young to
know "for sure" about something like pcos.
