My sister, who is 17, is 20 weeks pregnant
and she might be having gallbladder
surgery this week. She is scared that
something will happen to the baby. Can
anyone tell me any info on this my sister
asked me to look and see if I could find
something out about it. Can anyone help?

Hi,
my partner who is 27 just underwent
emergency surgery to remove her
gallbladder. They said there was a risk
of fetal loss. She is just over 12wks
pregnant. Her gallbladder was gangrene
when they did the keyhole surgery. Both
her and the baby came out fine. Just need
to wait 3 days to see that there is no
after affect on the baby. After that
smooth sailing. Hope I helped in your
