My daughter gets up between 3:30 am - 5:30 am vomitting, will not cease by itself has to be given phenegran. Only happens in october/november. This season she has waken up on 11/9, 11/12, and 11/17 with vomitting, stomach pain - no fever - feels fine the day before and after admin. Of phenegran she is fine. I have taken he to pediatricians, nemours childrens hospital and nothing has been dx. Suggested could be nerves. Straight a student, no trouble at school, home life is great! I cant think of anything else to try. Suggestions and comments are welcomed. Question Crying or Very sad

Seeing that you said only october/november, have you thought of seasonal affective disorder? I dont have much info on it but kidshealth.Org is a great site to look up that kind of stuff. I think its a disease when kids experience certain symptoms only in certain motnhs. Hope this helps. Take care and I hope your daughter gets well soon.

It can be hard to handle symptoms of seasonal affective disorder. SAD is triggered when hours of daylight become less plentiful during the winter months, and can hit people in high latitudes particularly hard. Light therapy is one of the most straightforward and natural solutions for people who suffer from this disorder. When the light mimics outdoor, natural light, it creates a biochemical change in your brain that leads to a positive frame of mind. A particular benefit of this therapy is that the lights are available without a prescription. Also, this style of treatment doesn't usually lead to side effects.

I can't believe I was actually typing out an answer to a post from 2005. Hopefully she found out what was wrong by now.
