Is it true if you sleep with ur hands above ur head while preggy you can hurt ur baby

Well, they say you shouldn;t really reach for things above your head after so many weeks because it stretches out the umbilical cord, which in itself isn't bad, but then when you put your arms back down the cord could wrap around the babies neck, so......... Shocked

I understand the whole fact about not sleepin with your hands over your head or reaching for something above your head but what about stretching? Is that bad because sometimes you stretch your hands over your head….And when does all this apply? In early pregnancy or the whole time or what????

My doc said the last 4 month try not to, also don't sleep on your back.

I never heard the sleepin on your back part of it though....I heard you are supposed to sleep on your left side as much as possible though because it hels your blood flow or something like that

Hmmm that back thing is new to me. Everytime I sleep on my back it hurts. As for streching I just can't help that even though I try. Maybe thats why i'm always getting charlie horses in the morning. Lol

I read somwhere..So take it if you want to.... That you should sleep anyway that you are comfortable because the baby is fine, if it is comfortable to you
i get charlie horses if I stretch to hard
they suck and I do not know what to do, we'll see tomorrow if it keeps going, I think it does..Yeah 'cause when I made it the date skipped back up to 17th and it said 40.1wks and I was like, huh? So I fixed it Shocked
