Heart Problems

J/w...Does anyone have a heart condition??
I have a serisous one called long qt
syndrome, and am wondering what labor will
be like for me. Doesnt sound like it
will affect my heart much because the doc
hasnt said anything about a c section.
Does anyone else have heart probs??

Nope, I once had high cholestoral, I think
it will be okay! If you get the epidural,
you won't feel much.

Thanks..The thing is I dont know if I will
be able to take an epidural (the med that
I take everyday for my heart goes bad with
a lot of other meds, theres a huge list of
what I cant take!) so I have to ask my
heart doc about this! Hopefully ill be
able to take somthing

Hmm, well if worse comes to worse, I guess
you could always get a c-section. I am
sure everything will turn out for you.

Let them know you have long q t and would
epidural effect it? I thought it was a
sudden jolt or shock that brought on the
heart failure

Long qt syndrome? You can have an episode
from sudden movements, scares, and pain.
Lol..Labor=pain, my one concern!

Just get a c section you'll be knocked out

Thats what I thought too. I have an
upcoming appt w/ my heart doc so hopefully
my ?'s will be answered. But my ob didnt
say anything about a c section, just
talked of normal delivery, so I didnt
think it was that big of a deal, and he
knows all about my condition...So who
knows...
