Just Checking Order of Taking Pills (ortho Tri Cyclen Lo) Posted: 11-22-04 10:26am
Im on ortho tri cyclen lo, and im a sunday
starter. Yest. I took the first "white"
active pills (the one above the #1 and
yellow circle), but after I took it I
noticed the arrow was pointing to sat.
Instead of sun. I checked with the cvs
pharmacy (since mine was closed), and they
said I was ok, and then checked w/my
pharmacy today, and told them I took the
pills out (the packet) and turned the dial
to the correct day. He said that was ok
to do.
My question: (just want to check the color
order of pills)
first week of pack: white pills
second week of pack: light blue pills
third week of pack: dark blue pills
fourth week of pack: green pills
as long as I follow the numbers im ok. I
know this is stupid (im a hypochondriac
when it comes to this), but I start with
the pill that has the #1 under it, right?

Yes, you're fine... If you took the first
white pill yesterday (sunday) then you are
doing it correctly. And yes, that's the
correct order of pill colors for ortho-lo.
You should be a-ok.
