/one of my friends had sex w/o a condom
but it on the shot, she got in three weeks
ago.
Is the shot very good? Is there is good
chance she is not pregnant?

The shot it effective immediatley she
should be perfectly fine...But it also
runs out immediatley so make she she gets
her next shot on time if she plans on
doing it unprotected, I have heard that it
stays in your system awhile longer than
the 3 months but my stepsister was a day
late getting hers and got prego.

Nothing is 100% (well, except abstinence)
, my best friend was on b/c and using
condoms and still got pregnant and another
friend of mine was on the shot and got
preg and afterwards they put her on a
higher dose and she .S.T.I.L.L got preg
again!!!

Ya nothing is 100% but the shot is
good-it was the only thing that worked for
me-i got preggy twice on the pill and
never on the shot. I also miscarried the
2 from the pill so hopefully this one will
be a-ok since I was on nothing!

For most people, most contraceptions work.
But there is that pesky issue of the
"failure rate" both with "correct" and
"actual" use.
Which is why around 2/3rd of the people
who have abortions were at least trying to
use contraception.
