oopsies- seems like 1/2 the people are in the military here--i get so confooooosed. Don't mean to sound ignorant but what is section 8 housing- is it low-income housing (that's what it's called up here??) you don't have to answer if it's too personal-just wondering! Embarassed

nothing taken personal. Honestly what people say or think doesnt bother me because its not easy being me, and as long as I am happy with myself and my kids are that is all I care about. My mom tought me the saying sticks and stones. Lol so what one person may think is trash is another persons treasure. That is how I live.. So dont worry I know you meant no harm just curious that is all. By the way how is your day going

In a way, I wish I was able to get that kind of help. But its sooo hard to get it. I don't even think I can get food stamps! Stinks!! I swear. And its a good thing they do inspections. I mean, I knew this one lady who was living section 8and she was nasty! I cant even explain it. And not once did she clean it up. Im surprised they let her live there for as long as she did. She let her daughters run the house and mess it up, so she didn't bother.

I give credit to anyone who is at least living somewhere that is helping rather than on the street!! Love ya tazzy!!! Smile

ditto-taz

i'm gonna be supporting hubby while he goes back to school for a year in feb to get his degree. I was a really f*** up teen in group homes and stuff and finally got a business admin degree when I was 20. Now at 25 I have a job I really like (and a super nice boss) I have my own place with a a backyard but am worried because my landlord wants to sell it and i'm not sure if the people who will buy it will want it for living or to be an owner. My lease ends july 1 (my due date) so I have to figure that out and my credit is shot so it's hard to find a place (i got lucky and subleted this one) my sister thinks I should be married and "settled" I figure as long as your happy that's what matters. And I don't ever want to get married so..... Enough about me.. Sorry I guess I needed to blab!

What about sticks and stones will break my bones...But words will break my heart?

I think that only applies to those closest to you though, huh?

i am making homemade chicken soft tacos tonight, and that always wears me out.. I am hoping that by putting jalepenos in the beans and extra tapatio on my tacos and spicier rice than normal will help!!!!
