How Far Along Were All of U When.... Posted: 11-24-04 20:47pm
Hey girls!!! I'll be 6 weeks pregnant on
friday and haven' t gone to my first
ultrasound appointment yet. I have been
to the family doc to get proof of
pregnancy and prenantal vitamins and
stuff. I am going to get on medicade but
i'v heard that that take sa week or two to
kick in b4 I can go to the doc. I had
the papers sent to my house and I plan to
take them back on monday. Do I really
have to wait untill the medicade kicks in
b4 I can go to the doc. I had a
miscarriage a few months back and i'm so
afriad that i'm going to miscarry agian!!!
Also, my doc office called the other day
to tell me how high my hcg levels were (i
asked them to call). Well, a nurse told
me that my levels were at 265 which
according to that crazy nurse meant that I
was only a week or two along. So, I
started freaking out and so she put me on
hold and when she got back on the phone
told me that the doc said not to worry
about it and that I am almost 6 weeks and
that the hcg levels can vary. I still was
afraid so I got on the net and foun out
that if ur 6 weeks ur levels should be
anywhere from 50 to like 1000 (i think
that's right!) anyone know anything about
that sorta stuff?? How far along were all
of u when u had ur first appointments???

I am 8 weeks and going for my first visit
on monday. I would have gone sooner but
that was the only time she could fit me
in.

I was 8w for both on the first, 12w again
and then 18w for my first son and 20w for
this one

I was 7 weeks when I went for my first
ultrasound, they kinda had to because they
didn't know how far along I was yet,
because I couldn't remember when my last
period was. I was getting all stressed
about miscarrying too, but it's better not
to worry about it, no need to put yourself
through all that stress. Just take really
good care of yourself, and take your
prenatal vitamins, that's all you can
really do.
I was supposedly 8 wks but after
ultra-sound I was only 7 wks!! Good luck

Hi there!
I know it's easier said then done but
please try not to stress out, it'll only
make things worse..
I didn't find out I was pregnant til 7wks
and went for my first ultrasound scan @
10.5 wks. I think everyone worries when
they have to wait a while more so if they
have had miscarriages in the past, but try
not to stress (as I said I kow it's easier
said then done)..

Hey everyone!!! Thanks alot for the
supposrt....This makes me feel soooo much
better about everything!!! Hopefully i'll
be going to the doc. Really soon!!! Are
any of u on medicade??? I just found out
that the baby gets a heart beat at 6
weeks!!! Awww what a feelin'!!!!! I'v
heard that you can't hear it untill ur
about 10 to 12 weeks though. I'm so
excited!!! Oh...And I know u all told me
not to stress and worry but for the last
two mornings I haven't been feeling sick
like I normally do, and my breasts are
alot less sore!!! I read that something
could be wrong if ur symptoms go away!!!
Do u guys think I should worry?? I hope
nobody gets mad at me for asking these
questions and gets rude and tells me to go
ask a doc!!! Lol ha ha!!!! Well thanks
again for all the support girls!!! Keep
posting!!!! Good luck to u all!!!

I am also on medicaid and if im not
mistaken they cover your medical for three
months before you get it as long as you
know you are.I would call first but I went
to the doctors and wasn't on medicade yet
and when I got on they took care of all my
medical for the last three months
before.
If your real worried I would go get
checked out.
Its not worth the risks to wait and its
not good for you to be stressed and be
prego. Good luck I hope every thing works
out for you!!!

Hey girls!!! So...The medicade should
back up and cover the hospital bills from
when I had my miscarriage?? It was
september the first when I went to the
hospital about all of it. I owe a sh*t
load of money on all that. Do I jst go to
the healthdepartment or what to get an
appointment?? I mean can I go to the
womens health center and get an
appointment even though i'm not on
medicade yet?? I just don't have money to
pay 25 dollar co-pay everytime I have an
appointment. How long did it take all of
you to get the medicade started??
Anyways...Hi kitty!!! I have an
appointment tuesday to go get proof of
pregnancy (again because I live in a
diffrent state now.) I also plan to take
my medicade form back tuesday...So
hopefully everything will get on the ball

I was 7 weeks, but as far as medicaid
goes, usually if you go to get proof of
preggyness they help you apply for
medicaid, at least for me they did, and
then the medicaid people give you a
temporary medicaid thats just a piece of
paper that says you have medicaid for like
60 days. That way you dont have to wait
for your actual card and everything, thats
what I used for my first ultrasoud, they
just couldnt do any blood work until the
real medicaid kicked in, but see what you
can find about that. That way you dont
have to wait until everything goes
through, especially if you ahve a history
of miscarriage.
