Q: Whats It Like Being Pregnant/mom At a Young Age?

Hey gurls, I just want to know what its like to be pregnant at a young age?
Like being really young...12,13,14,15,16,17....How do you cope w/it. Was it planned?If yes,if you dont mind me asking, what was the reason? Or was it by surprise? Did you keep it,misscarried,aborted,give it for adoption? Were you scared? Whos boyfriend was alot older than them? Whose boyfriend was the same age? Can your body get ruined after giving birth at a young age?What was everything like?Its amazing how teen mothers can still keep their life on track!Big ups for you guys!! I go to a continuation high school and my school has a daycare for students with children. Its a teen mother program for high shool students. The program is for pregnant students and students w/children. A few of my friends have their child there and my cousin,17, is 7 months pregnant right now.(shes part of that program) at lunch I always go to the nursury with my friend to feed her 3 week old baby. When I see those babies in there I get happy becuase I love children but at the same time I get sad. It makes me think how much I wanted a baby of my own and all the attempts that failed. I know it wouldnt ruin my life cuz theres alot of teen moms my age and younger that make it. I dont know it seems everyone is getting pregnant but me.Which is probably a good thing!!!! I know its not my time right now, not becuase im 17, but becuase god simply chooses so. I just want to know whats pregnancy is like for teens.If you could go back in time would you have waited??Is there any single teen moms or pregnant girls right now?How can u cope with everything?Well let me know whats up....I would love to listen to your stories..

Well being pregnant at 17 isnt the easiest thing to go through. My pregnancy was definitely not planned. Me and my bf were together for 2years (hes 18 ) then I fell pregnant (5mos now!) and he left. My family didnt like the news at first but they've grown to accept it. I have major mood swings and I dont always feel too good. But thats what its like. Im definitely going to keep my baby. I dont believe in abortion and I think its wrong to give a baby up for adoption unless you're 100% sure that you wouldnt be able to care for it. You're lucky to have a school with a daycare. Where I went (i graduated already) they would send you to a different school just for pregnant teens so you can learn to take care of your babies but but they dont teach you anything else so you cant go to university or college afterwards. I have a friend who was pregnant at 16 and she said as soon as she had the baby she lost all of her friends because they didnt want to hang around with someone who was always occupied with their child. She couldnt go out to see friends r have a fun time because its hard to find a babysitter. Im happy to be having a baby but I know that im going to have to sacrafice a lot of things for him/her. It'd wait awhile before having a child. Live your life first.

Hey. I'm 14 and i'm 4 1/2 months pregnant. Mine was an accident. The guy was 17. (i don't refer to him as my boyfriend, just my babys daddy, lol) if I could go back, part of me wants to say I would have waited, but then again, part of me says I wouldn't have changed a thing. I mean, it's a scary thing but once you've grown attatched to that little angel inside you, it's hard to imagine life without them. At least it is for me, and i'm sure some of these girls would tell you the same thing. Because once it's happened, you can't help but be happy. And I felt pretty good throughout most of my pregnancy. Just really tired. And a little nauseous. Lol. But ya. Pm me if ya wanna talk more or my aim sn is kissybai912.

Wow arent you guys scared?Why did your boyfriend leave you lyingdownalone?Why dont you call your baby's daddy your boyfriend kissy?You are so young being 14.Wow do u go to school still?Wow how did you guys suspect you were pregnant?What did your boyfriends think?Its pretty crazy to me. Well I was 14 when I got pregnant, I have been with my boyfriend now for almost 5 years, I am soon to be 16. My son is 6 months old. I have never really had a stable family life, so I bounced back from house to house so I was definitly worried about having a child because I didnt want that to happen to him too. Before I got pregnant I weighted 125, and now after I have had the child I have stretch marks and still have not returned to my original size. I went into labor at 5am!! I did attend school my whole pregnancy and actually went to school on my due date, and had my son the next day. My body started cramping up during my last couple weeks, his head was falling making it hard for me to walk. But anyway, I went into labor at 5am and his head would not drop, so I ended up having to get a c-section. I cant really tell you if my pregnancy was planned or not, I was moving around a lot and my boyfriend and I wanted to keep each other we figured that that would be the only way. We werent going to act on it, but we ended up producing a beautilful child, and he is so wonderful. Are you doing a school project, I would love to help!!

Well I will be 17 in 9 days!! Which im really excited about!! Me and my boyfriend are expecting our baby in about 6 months!!! We both hope its a girl!! I cant stay at the school im at now b/c its bad for their reputation which im actually okay with b/c the school I will go to has parenting skills and that sort of thing! My parents just found out I was pregnant this past weekend they are trying to force me to give my baby up but I wont do it!!! I will go to school all through my pregnancy and I will get a job as soon as a I can hopefully I wil l move in with raven and we can actually be a family!! His family is really supportive!!! I love my baby and my raven!!!! No my family isnt supportive but I could care less if they arent going to be supportive during my pregnancy then I dont want them around after the baby is born thats how I look at it I dont want that kind of negativity around my baby!! Well, im 17 and pregnant...I planned this pregnancy..I live with my fiance and we plan to marry soon. It's been hard. Finances are rough, but I applied for wic and medicaid, so my pregnancy and the baby's birth are pretty much covered financially. Me and chris are pretty much the same age, he is 18. He has finally landed a descent job making some good money. We tried to get pregnant for 4 months and nothing happened and I cried every time my period and I thought to myself im never gonna have kids. But sure enough I got pregnant and when I read that preg. Test I was so happy. I still havent quit smiling. I quit school and im getting my ged when the baby is born or maybe before that. I quit work b/c chris doesnt want me working...I dont mind.... :p .... My mom keeps her distance and hasnt seen me since I have gottten pregnant actually she doesnt believe im pregnant and she doesnt want to believe it. But im glad that im starting my family... Congrads to every teen who has mad it work...Dont ever give up on yourself or your baby...

Well

My friend had her baby at 15. Now, her daughter a'mya is 2 and she is 17. I find that for her situation a'mya helped her be the person she is today. I think without having had a'mya, my friend would have been headed down the wrong path. I know that finances are tough and it's not always easy because my friend liked to hang out with her friends and now it's not as easy, but I find that they are growing together. Maybe teen pregnancy isn't for everyone but it is the best thing that has happened to my friend. :d

I know this comes as a stupid question but how do you feel about that? Do you still talk to him? Do u see him around?....Is ok..You are going to be a great mommy. Youll find someboody who really loves you and your baby! It doesnt take a sperm to be a father....It takes a real man with responsibility. That makes a father!

its not a stupid question..
My feelings are all messed up right now. I hate him so much for being how he is but I also feel like thanking him for allowing me to be apart of this miracle..Its amazing having a human being grow inside of you..Knowing and feeling that its apart of you :d I see him around, especially when im hanging out with one of his exs. She has an adorable baby boy (my ex is his father) named ellis. We got along really well seeing as we are both in the same situation. He visits her sometimes to give her money for the baby. I dont really talk to him. Why should I put the effort into it, he can try for once. Thanks..I hope i'll be a great mommy, im scared and excited at the same time..Figure. Hehe
