Since there are some new ladies here, i'll try again. Anyone breastfeeding? I'm curious about birth control for breastfeeding moms.

They say its breastfeeding is great birthcontrol, not true my best friend was strictly breastfeeding (no bottles) her daughter was 8 months old when she got pregnant again.

I've never believed that. I have done nfp, had an iud, and am now on the mini pill. Just wondering about other alternatives. My daughter is 9 months old, so i'm almost done anyway. Just getting nervous because I got pregnant with my second baby when my first was 11 months. It's getting close. Laughing

Using a pump? Or really breastfeeding? And do you know what type of formula you're gonna use yet?

you will have plenty of milk in the beginning. Pump some and store it in breastmilk bags in the freezer. Baby will still have breastmilk when you're not home. You can still nurse and daddy can still feed too. Or pump and hand him a fresh bottle of milk to give the baby.

i am using the carnation goodstart, it isn't supposed to curdle in baby's tummy like the other ones do.
