I have heard of women who have had their
tubes tied, but one or both of the tubes
grew back together and allowed an egg to
be released.
If your periods are normally very timely,
I would definetly take a pregnancy test!
You'll feel better once you know for sure.
Hope everything goes ok!

My sister's friend had a tubal and 10
years later she found out she was pregnant
with twins. So it definitely can happen
since there are no real guarantees.
I had a tubal 5 years ago and at one point
experienced pregnancy symptoms:
losing/gaining weight, missed period,
nausea, and feeling tired all the time.
I took a pregnancy test and it was
negative, then went to the doctor and
found out I had a sinus infection. So
like reney70 said, go get a pregnancy
test. If it comes out negative, it might
be something else.
Also in the last 2 years, i've began to
experience tenderness in my breasts about
a week or two before my period. So that
could may be a reason for the tenderness.

He its the 26th.. I finally took a
pregnancy test and it came out
negative... So I am going to assume that
I just missed my monthly cycle... Still
have this errie feeling that I am, but the
test says otherwise....

Just wanted to let you know that after
four kids, me being the last, my mother
had her tubes tied. Three years later
she found out that she was pregnant with
my little brother, who is now 19. They
did nothing after he was born as far as
preventing future pregnancies and she and
my dad have never used any form of
protection since and no more pregnancies.
We like to think of it as god's work, but
who knows, any way, I thought it might be
helpful. Good luck

Hi, I have had my tubes tied right after
the birth of my daughter, which
was 14 years ago, always been regular with
my period, and now I am experience
sypmtoms of pregnancy. I have'nt never
been late in a 14 year period. Now I am
2 months late, went to take a pregnancy
test, blood test of course because they
are more accuretly. And the test came
back negative. Dr. Did a papsmear he is
running testes and told me to call him in
three weeks. Blood tests aren't always
accuretly. My neice took a blood
pregnance test and hers came back
negative, he told her to come back 3 weeks
later did an ultrasound and found out she
was 8 weeks pregnant. I am so confused I
also had the tenderness in the chest the
first month I missed my period.

I used to work with this girl who had her
tubes tied after she had her baby. Just
a year and a half later she was pregnant
again. When I asked her about it...She
said that the doctor told her there was a
possiblitly that this would happen but she
was so young that they wouldn't do
anything else to prevent pregnancy besides
birth control. She was only 22 when she
had her tubes tied and had already had
three boys. He latest additions just
happened to be a little girl so she said
that it was worth it.
