Lately I have been eating ice, I even make
small ice cubes just so I can eat them. I
take iron tablets everyday, cause I am
anemic. I've heard craving ice is caused
from a lack of iron. Is that true? I
also craved ice with my daughter, but not
for the last couple weeks of my pregnancy.
Lol there was a snow cone stand up the
road, and I would go there everyday just
to get plain shaved ice with no syrup.

I know what you mean with my first 2
pregnancies I would eat a 32oz cup of
crushed ice like it was nothing, I wanted
it all the time. I dont know about the
iron thing though, im 21 weeks pregnant
this time and have not had any ice
cravings, just french toast, ice would be
alot better though .

When I was pregnant with mackenzie I
craved ice like crazy and I would sit and
just eat ice all day long lol. I still do
sometimes but not as much.

Reading this post is making me want ice
again, especially reading the word crushed
ice. Lol. I don't have any other
cravings as strongly as I do for ice. At
least i'm not craving dirt or soap
though... Ehhk
I've read that craving ice can mean you
have an iron deficiency, but not always.
Ice is considered a non food item, but
it's not a problem. What sucks is if you
crave dirt, laundry soap, or cigarette
butts.

I'd eat ice but I have very sensitive
teeth and I can't stand eating things that
are that cold. I need to start brushing
with sensodyne or something.
