One of my really close friends might be pregnant. We are both scared but excited.... Would her mother be able to make her give up her baby? Abortion or otherwise. This friend of mine wants to keep her baby if she is pregnant. She knows what she would be giving up. Either way I want to help her in her choices. Does anyone know what I should do?

It depends on what state she is in. But a lot of times when you are under 18 your mother has the right to tell you what you can and cannot do. I know that is not fair but that is how it is. That is just because she is a minor. Have anymore questions feel free to ask.

I think ur friend is making a good choice, but I hope she really knows how much shes goin to be losein and missing out on my cousin is 24 and shes pregnant with her 4th child. She got pregnant at a young age too and missed out on alot.But even now with 3 kids shes still a kid and not ready to be a mother. But thats all in the person. If your friend is ready and knows 100% the future and what shes goin to do with the baby then thats awesome then shes ready to keep the baby and her mother should respect that choice

Well I don't know what state you are in, but the state I live nobody can tell you want to do with your baby, not even your mother, so you may want to do some searching on that

i cant say what her mum can and cannot do without knowing exactly where you are I live in england and I was 15 when I first become pregnant sadly I had a misscarriage I told my mum who left the decision for me it depends how openminded her mum is . Im 16 and currently 22 weeks pregnant werent planned but I know what im going to be losing your friend is 15 please please make sure she knows what she will be losing having a child you no longer can hang out with your friends freely a child relies on the mum and dad 100% they cannot fend for themselves please seek adult advice if your friend whats to keep this child you will need all the support you can get its a very hard time having a child expecially young and unplanned.
