I'm Worried About Maybe Being Pregnant Too! Posted: 12-01-04 08:29am
Well its been atleast two weeks since the
last time I had sex. Actually it was my
first time. He didn't use anthing either.
I was spotting for like two days, not
alot just a little. But then like about a
week later or mabye just a couple of days
I got what I thought was my period, it
last for a whole day adn then half the
next. Is there a possability I might be
pregenanat. I mean I feel fine.

Why didn't u use anything? R u trying to
get preg? Just curious. Not sure what
ur chances r, but I would say pretty good
considering u can even get preg while
using some form of protection. Could
have been implantation bleeding???? I
don't know. Wait until ur next period.
If u miss, take a test!

Most likely you are not pregnant but it is
definantly possible! But when someone
looses their virginity it will cause your
bodies cycle and hormones to change! I
can give you advice on this subject
because I just dealt with the same problem
with my little couzin whom is 15. Once we
got her all checked out that was what they
had told us.

Thanks both of you for your help, trust me
when I tell you that I have no wish to
become pregnant at this time. I'm only 16
years old. Im mom told me that it could
be tat my body is changing, its just that
i'm like teriified. I'm practically
praying for my period to some this

Cookie, if u really don't want to be preg
right now, u should at least be using
protection, if having sex at all. The
more u use the safer u are. The pill and
a condomn for example. Or no sex! ok, j/k. I did
when I was 15, so no judgement here.
Just be more careful next time!

Hey really thanks alot for your help. I
know I should have used some protection
but I wasn't thinking at the moment you
know. I feel like a butt. I'll get on
the pill, if i'm not pregnant, I guess I
have to wait it out. Cause my period is
irregualar.

Ok, when is ur period due? The first
response urine test claims to be able to
tell u if ur preg 4-5 days before ur next
period. Other wise, u could go to the
doc and get a blood test. It sounds like
u told ur mom? Thats good, it's good u
can talk to her about that stuff.

Well my period is irregular it changes all
of the time, thats the pb I dont know when
to expect it. Well to be honest I didn't
really tell my mom, I just gave her an
example, if I were to tell her she would
freak out. I really want to tell her but
I couldn't handle the look in her eyes
that look of disappointment, I saw that
look when my sister got pregnant. I just
coudn't handle it. I'd probly have a
nervous breakdown. The guy I had sex with
he was like one of my good friends. It
just kind've happened and i've learned my
lesson...For sure....

Cookie, you haven't taken a test yet? You
said it has been two weeks since you had
sex. Well, then you could probably take
an hpt. Hope it all works out for you.

I don't think 2 weeks from the time of
intercourse is long enough. Hpt's are
usually only strong enough to pick up on
hcg after at least 4 weeks. You will have
to wait a little while longer. Pregnancy
can occur after only *one* time, but it's
kind of rare. So try not to stress so
much. And just so you know, mom's have
quite an intuition with their kids....You
gave your mom a hypothetical....She
probably has a feeling that you're asking
because you're worried about yourself.

Katie, i've had 3 children, I know when
you can test. It is not 4 weeks. Unless
you ovulated during your period and had
sex then. Then yes, you would have to
wait 4 weeks. It is normally 14dpo. That
would mean 2 weeks past ovulation.

when I was 15, so no judgement here.
Just be more careful next time!
