I never had a nurses appt. And I don't remember everything they test for, but they should tell you. If they don't, just ask.

I went for my second appt. Yesterday, the nurse asked me how I was feeling, went over my allergies again, gave me the results from my blood test, and then I asked her questions I wanted answers for. Then I saw my doc, he poked my tummy a couple of times and then I went home!!!
Hope that helps

i'll be 10 weeks on friday!!!!! I have another ultrasound tomorrow (i had one 3 weeks ago) and then another one in another 3 weeks. I've had 2 miscarriages before, so my doc wants to make sure evrything is ok. I think all will be fine this time since I miscarried befor 2 months both times and i'm almost into my 2nd trimester with no bleeding or cramping at all this time!!!

I guess I was lucky when it came to my apps. I have not seen a nurse without seeing my doctor afterwards. When I went for my first ob/gyn app., the nurse talked to me, drew blood, did the blood pressure, urine, asked all the questions and then I saw my doctor. I have seen him every visit.

Mine have all been reg. Apps. Even with my nurse that one time. Since then, I see the nurse for the weight, and bp and then he comes in and checks the urine, heart beat and asks if I am ok and then says 'see you in two weeks' .L.O.L.
