Im only 2 months pregnant and I have been
taking my prenatal vitamins. I hate
vegetables and most fruits... Do I have
to make myself eat them or does the
prenatal vitamins do a good enough job so
that I dont have to eat them. Someone
please help I dont want to have a
unhealthy baby...

You should try to eat healthy and take the
prenatal vitamins too. Its not really
about you anymore or what you like. Its
about the baby and what it needs. Try to
at least have a few vegetables a day.
Steamed, baked, boiled...Anything. Have
fruits in a fruit salad, fruits with
vanilla ice cream, be creative but you
really need to take them. You really need
to try for your babies sake. It cant be
that hard. Or you can ask your doc about
a substitute for vitamins but they might
tell you the same thing.
Ok, well an idea for fruits, it make a
fresh smoothie or shake, if you have a
blender! It will take care of the fruits
and dairy at one time and strawberry
banana is so good!!
You really need to try and eat right while
you are preggy. :d

Sweetie you really need to eat properly
for you and your baby. If your not
getting enough nutrients and vitamins you
could be in big trouble. Ok. Your baby
takes what vitamins it needs first way
before you even get a chance at them. So
you could become extremely underweight.
And that could effect the baby. Plz try
to eat properly for not only the baby but
for your own safety as well ~melissa

I ate corn sometimes, and I really didn't
eat fruits out my butt or nothing, but
every once in awhile. When sean was born
he was 7lbs. 12 ounces. Perfectly
healthy and there is nothing wrong, and
truthfully I didn't take my vitamins, they
were horse pills to me!! This is just
what happened to me though, you need to
remember that everyone goes through
different things, and that you need to do
what is best for you. Chances are though
if you keep yourself well, and if you keep
your same eating habits(the ones before
you were pregnant),. You will be ok, you
were fine with your eating werent you, you
were healthy. Hope that I am making
sense. Get back to me...

Yeah, im healthy. I take my vitamins
every day at the exact same time and I eat
green beans and corn every now and that,
but thats about it. The rest is mostly
meat and fish and stuff like that, but I
guess it is time for another trip to the
grocery store!

How can u not like vegetables?!?!?! Ur
crazy! Lol. But this is coming from me,
and my favorite food in the whole world is
salad. Iceberg lettuce,
tomatoes,cucumbers,cheese,carrots,ham
cubes, ranch dressing. O man I am hungry
now. Thanks a lot. Lol. But try
drinking tomatoe soup or v8 and v8
splash. I read tomatoes are supposed to
be very good for you during pregnancy.
And like jess said, fruit smoothies. I
love em! Strawberry ice cream! Some
brands have actual strawberries! Lol.
The doc told me every lil bit helps. Sum
ppl even like veggie smoothie? Although I
seriously doubt I would. But please try
to eat right! I've been eating lots of
foods I can't stand (like corn, peas,
cooked carrots, and king vitamin cereal)
just for my sons sake b/c believe me, I
think I would rather have my tastebuds
suffer for a few months than my son suffer
illness for a lifetime or be born with
birth defects or malnutrition. Please be
good to ur baby and try to eat right!
(peaches and whiped cream is also good)

I dont know I am more into celery and
things like that. I will admit though I
did drink v8 thoughtout my pregnancy. I
really enjoyed it, and I love the yoplait
smoothies that they have out now. I am
big into strawberries, so really anything
with strawberries, yogurt is my big thing
now. Well anyway, this isnt my board. I
am glad that we can help her though and
add our own comments!! Good luck...Eating
any better??
