i was on the depo shot for 2
1/2 years during that time I didnt have my
period at all... When I got off the shot
I still didnt have a normal period for a
year... It take up to 18 months to get
the shot completly out of your system..
I really dont think that you could be
preggo cause the shot is very very
effective.... How long ago did you get
off of the shot or are you still on
it..??
im not on the depo shot, I have been off
for about a year and a half.

Help Me Please! Posted: 12-07-04 19:48pm
I am just wondering if there is anyone out
there that could tell me if there is
something other than pregnancy that could
cause sore breasts more than 2 weeks
before your period is due. My breasts
started to get sore already last thursday
or friday and my next period isn't due
until dec. 20th. They seem to get more
sore as the days go on. It hurts to run,
or lay on them in a certain spot, or even
walk really fast. I have also felt kind
of sick for the last couple of weeks since
the end of my last period. Every once
and a while I will notice like a little
dizzy spell that lasts for a couple
seconds and then goes away. I have also
been more tired than usual lately. I
think I ovulated yesterday because I
haven't notice a whole lot of cm today and
I had quite a bit this weekend. If
anyone could please help me I would
appreciate it. Thanks

I do suspect that if this has lasted since
your last period, it is unrelated to
pregnancy though it certainly can be due
to hormonal changes. After ovulation,
the "sack" where the egg was stored in the
ovary does form a little hormone-producing
lump that pumps out progesterone. That
may just not have settled down, causing
the tenderness.

Well even so you have been off of it for a
year and a half it takes that long to get
back to normal. Are you trying to get
pregnant? How old are you? If you dont
want to end up in a situation like this
again then get back on your birth control
why did you stop taking the shot?

Maybe I was a little unclear in the way I
wrote my last post. My breasts haven't
been sore since my last period. My last
period ended on about nov. 26th and my
breasts started to get sore again around
dec. 2 or 3. They haven't been sore the
entire time and at the beginning of this
week is when they got really sore to the
point that I couldn't lay against anything
or on my stomach. My breasts feel really
heavy and seem to be a little bit bigger
than they normally are. The veins are
also more noticeable in them and the ring
around the outside edge of my nipple seems
to be getting darker with more noticeable
spots. If anyone knows if this could
mean pregnancy, please let me know. I am
not due to get my next period until dec.
20 which is still 12 days away and my
breasts have already been sore for 5 or 6
days.

Just curious as to whether or not anyone
has looked at this site lately. I would
really like to know if anyone knows
anything about the questions in my last
post. Thanks

Period, But Shorter Than Normal Posted: 01-16-05 12:17pm
I started my period on thursday, january
13, and today is sunday, january 16. As
of yesterday I have only had spotting and
my period usually lasts about 3 days
before it begins to get light and finishes
up around 5 or 6 days. On day 3 of my
period I only had spotting, not even
enough to change a pad throughout the
entire day. Is it possible that I could
be pregnant since I only had one day of
actual bleeding. It wasn't a heavy
bleed, but I changed my pad once or twice
during the day. The blood is bright red.
Could I be pregnant?
