Your cycle is the whole month, or 28 days. When you have your period, when you don't, when you are ovulating, when the egg drops, when it stops and you have your period again.
So, another way to put it would be...If you ever have unprotected sex at anytime, anyday, period or no period, ovulating or not, you can be pregnant.

Hi, the last week of march, I had 5 pos pg tests at home, apr 1st I went to the doctor and the blood test was neg, the same day I started af and it was unusually long and crampy it ended apr 9th. Today is the 20th, on the 18th and 19th, for the hell of it, I took pg tests because I am having symptoms, they both were positive. The doc says there is no way because my apr 1st blood test was neg. Could I have been pg enough for all those home tests, but not enough for the blood test and still be pg after af? Or could the home tests in mar really have been flukes and I got pg between apr 1st and apr 10th (so it would show up today?) I dont remember if we had sex the day before af (mar 30th) I had lots of ewcm for the week before the tests (the 2nd week of mar was the ewcm), but I know we had sex the day af ended(the 9th). And now I have pos's.......And I am having alot of spotting......Any insight please?

so did you get pregnant the day before your period? If so why would you still have your period.. I had sex 2 days before my period but we used a condom... What do you think the chances of me getting pregnant then are??

what do you think my chances of me getting pregnant if I had protected sex and then 2 days later I start my period... I know am pregnant but I believe I got pregnant after my period when I was ovulating.. Ok I had my period on dec. 19 and I had sex with a condom on the 17 I also had sex while on my period on the 19 and the 20 I did not have sex again until dec.31 jan1 and2 I found out I was pregnant on jan 14th.. But when I had an ultra sound on feb.15 it said I was 7 weeks and 6 days.. So i'm really confused but my Dr. Also told me I most likley concieved on the 31 of dec. So do you think there is a chance of me getting preggo 2 days before I started my period.. Thank you i'm really confused and my drr makes me even more confusesd..

so just curios when do you think I got pregnant do you think I shoudl worry that I got pregnant on the 17th 2 days before my period... If so would the Dr. Beable to tell if I got pregnant before my period. The reason i;m so concerned is b/c on the 17th I had sex with my ex.. I'm really worried but don't know if I should be.. Hi, i'm in the same situation I had my last period on mar29-apr2. I had sex with my husband while I was on my period and he cummed inside of me. Now, I was suppose to start my period on apr 26 but I didn't start. My cycle is every 29 days. I was having cramps like I was fixing to start but nothing. I have been having sharp pains on my lower stomach off and on. Do you think I could be pregnant? Is it too early to test or should hurry up and test? Today is three days of my missed period....Four days if I count apr 26 the day was going to start I don't know if I count that day or not.

My husband and I had sex about 2 weeks ago towards the end of my period (april 23?)...I'm not on birth control and we didn't use a condomn and we didn't use the "pull-out method". Today (may 3) there was blood in my urine, similar to being on a light period...What does this mean??? Could I be pregnant??? Help! I'm pretty uneducated on all this stuff.

Well I have reason to believe that I may have ovulated last sunday which was one day after my period finished! Have been slightly irregular lately due to coming off the pill so yes you can ovulate anytime in your cycle, it is totally possible.

If you used a condom then ur chances are extremely small...... So wudnt worry if I were you.

ive had those exact same symptoms except im still due for af, in fact dont even know when my af is supposed to get here because I ovulated early but im guessing another week or so yet? I think you should definatly test since you've missed four days of ur af....Should work out good.

so if you were in my situation would you count that day? Ok I had my last period on dec. 19 and I had unprotected sex w/ my b/f on the 19 and 20.. I had protected sex on the 17 not with my b/f.. I didn't have sex agian until dec. 31 jan 1 and 2 with my b/f and we didn't use protection my Dr. Told me I most likley concived on dec. 31.. But i'm confused b/c I had my us on april 28 and it measured the baby at 19 weeks and 4 or 5 days (don't remeber) and when I count back it lands like 4 or 5 days before my period even started.. But when I asked the ultra sound tech when I concieved she said any where between dec 25 and jan 3.. But I just dont' understand why the baby measured 4 or 5 days before my period.. I was also told that they add 2 weeks onto every thing and so far thats how it seems.. I just am scared that I got pregnant 2 days before my period when I slept with my ex.. My boyfriend and I are getting so excited about the baby.. I just keep thinking in my head how much it would ruin everything if it wasnt' his.. Every one tells me not to worry about it that by the signs of everything that it's his( my bf) and I feel in my heart it is.. I just don't want to be blind to the situation.. He knows I slept with my ex and we used a condom and he hasn't brought up anything about the baby not being his b/c he knows I had my period... Sorry I jsut stress about this form time to time.. Awww hun dont stress too much about this, I mean you cant do anything about it now but I seriously dont think it wud be ur ex's since u used protection with him ok :) of course there is always a chance like if the condom brakes but that is quite noticeable.
Just be happy that you conceived on dec 31st which is when you had sex with your bf, hope I helped some :)

Im not sure if im pregnant yet, my story is a complicated one but I think I may have ovulated early and if I did it happened less than 24hours after I had unprotected sex with my bf sooo there a high chance I could be. I had these really sharp jabbing pains on the left side of my stomach "area" which I have never had before. I keep getting them aswell but not so painful...And ive basically had a headache for the last two days, a very noticeable headache! I have had some other symptoms but I really am not sure about it all. Could just be me imagining it or just from stress??? So I think I am guna test next week sometime? How far along are you?

Yeah and alot of symtoms I think are in people's head b/c they think there pregnant.. So try not to stress to much b/c that can also make your period late
