yes I am with the father and we are planning on moving in together!! Thats why I want to be sure there's not a chance it could be my ex's b/c that would ruin everything and crush him (and me) but yes my family is being supportive the wish I would have waited and been married but they are excited now.... I really shouldn't worry b/c the chances are slim but I always seem to thing the impossible dont' know why wish I didn't if you were in my situation would you worry... On page 1 of this forum it explains everything and all the dates and stuff...

Hi all...This is my first time posting...I have two kids 2 and 7 months so you would think I would not have to post what I am about to ask. My last period started on may 3 and lasted 4 or 5 days. My husband and I had sex a few times right when it was over, with no protection. I swear I am pregnant. Has anyone gotten pregnant right when there period had ended thinking that they were not ovulating that quickly?

If you take birth control everyday, regularly, and the pills give u a "6day period week" but mine only last 4 days and I had sex the 6th day, (which means I didnt take my real pill again till the next day) could I be pregnant?? Or does the birth control during the month stop ovulation so much that when I have my period I still won't be able to?? If that all amkes sense? Just wondering...

no this is not true you can only be pregnant on certain days and it varies wwith each person but you can not be pregnant if you are not ovulating :roll:

Hi I have just had my 1st depo provera injection and was on my period we had unprotected sex the same day and I wasn't told the injection is not effective for 24 hours after. Is there a chance I could be pregnant now?

ummm.... I have a question. Can you get pregnant if you already started your period and it is 3 days into it and you have sex? How does that work. My cycle only lasts for about 4-5 days. Plus I am not on anything because I just had a baby 4 months ago. Are your chances better of getting pregnant if you had a baby not to long ago?

NO. That cannot happen. You CAN have sex while on your period that, a few days later, will result in you being pregnant. Sperm can hang around in your vaginal canal, uterus, or fallopian tube while you are on your period and if you happen to be a woman who ovulates earlier than most (and the chances of that aren't particularly high), then yes it could result in pregnancy. But an egg nor a fetus can live in a uterus that is shedding its lining, it is impossible.

Does precum contain sperm? This subject has been researched in medical journals
and the conclusion is very clear.

In the "Journal of Assisted Reproduction Genetics, 2003 Apr;20(4):157-9. Zukerman asked "Does preejaculatory penile secretion originating from Cowper's gland contain sperm?" "Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tikva, Israel."

Their conclusion was "Preejaculatory fluid secreted at the tip of the urethra from Cowper's gland during sexual stimulation did not contain sperm and therefore cannot be responsible for pregnancies during coitus interruptus." You can't be more definitive than that.

Precum does not contain sperm UNLESS there was a previous ejaculation, then the sperm comes from semen still in the urethra.

The main reason for failure of the withdrawl method is the inability of guys to admit they didnt pull out in time.
