on stem cell research?

I hold the same possition as the church...
I agree with adult stem cell research but
we must strenghen our christian values
around new descoveries and technology.

Izzy, we will always have abortion so why
make it be in vain? At least it will go
towards a good cause. I am not saying
it's good to have people abort just
because of stemcell research but you might
as well take what's already aborted and
make it go towards a good cause and not be
for nothing.

think outside the realms of the truth!
I dont concern myself with social goals...
I have but one goal.... To do the will
of god almighty... I am not sorry for it
and publicly announce it... I do not feel
ashamed... In fact all glory comes from
him.... In his people he gloryfies
himself. If I only once am able by his
grace to gloryfiy his name... My entire
life will have been worth it!

I was not aware that stem cells used in
research come from aborted fetus'. I was
under the distinct impression that the
stem cell lines being researched come from
donated embryo's which were left over
after a couple's successful ivf treatment.
These embryo's being used are being
created in a lab, in test tubes, so to
speak. The best are used for the ivf
treatment and the left overs can either be
outright destroyed (which happens every
day) or can be used in research. Many
couples donate leftover embryo's after
they have gone through ivf.
