Ok well I am on the depo-shot I started it
in october..And I started spottin this
brownish stuff about a week or so ago and
well I got no period for november my
period has never been regular tho anyways
I heard the depo shot messes with ur
periods and can make them late light heavy
early whatever well I started havin to pee
alot probably last thursday night, still
am and I started to spot pinkish blood
saturday and have been since then and I
went to the doc and had a urine pregnancy
test done and it came back neg and the
nurse said with me bein on the shot I
probably had nothing to worry about but I
did take 2 days of anti-biotics and I
heard those could mess with it...I dont
know whether to believe the test results
or not..What do you all think?

Maybe you should try asking them for a
blood test just to make sure.....

Im thinkin of doin that im still kinda
scared I know how incorrect urine tests
can be sometimes...

False positives are rare~while on the
other hand, false negative can occur.
Yup~def. Get a blood test done just to be
on the safe side

Im goin for a blood test tomorrow and go
from there but I already think I know what
I would have to do..Im still in highschool
no job no stability and my boyfriend has
no job still lives at home...I got on the
shot because everyone even the doctors
told me it was like 99% effective and im
17 about to be 18 and I should have
thought about this before I went about
having sex...I was virgin uptil october
and made the decision to give it to my
current boyfriend which I dont regret I
just regret not being more careful with
it..

I was on the depo shot for 2 alomst 3
years.. During that time I spotted but
never had a period.. When I got off of
it, it took me almost 1 1/2 years to get
my periods back to normal.. I still am
not really regular.. The shot is the most
effective I know that well.. But it takes
about 18 months to get out of your system

Well I went and had my blood test done
today they said the results should be in
tomorrow afternoon...I wont be suprised if
they are positive I hope not but they
probably will be since I had my hopes up
after the urine test came back neg. Then
I got to thinkin as to how many symptoms I
had and what all could affect a urine
test..And today they didnt wanna give me a
blood test because they had already givin
me the urine test they said it wasnt
needed but I still got it done...

i stopped my period after 2 months on the
shot and did not start it again untill
about 2m onths after I stopped taking it 2
years later. It's probably the shot.

thats what I keep being told , but why
would I be peeing soo much? And im still
lightly bleeding I dont know whats up I
supposeill find out tomorrow :-\ thanks

I was already tested for uti (urinary
tract infection) monday when I had the
urine test done and it came back neg also
so I dont think that could be causing the
urination frequency ive been having
