Has anyone tried pilates??? (for those
who dont know what it is.. Its like this
stretching exercise, I dont know exactly
what to call it, but its suppose to help
you become leaner and lose weight) well my
husband got it for me last week which I
thought was rude and nice of him lol. I
mean I have gaid about 20 pounds since we
got married in june and since I was
pregnant. It is usually advertised on tv
for like 40 for a dvd.. But I guess it
was on sale for only 10 dollars. So I
tried doing them this past week and I
actually kinda seeing results. I doubt I
lost any weight but my tummy is flatter
and my hips are narrower. Agghhhh I wish
I never gained the weight.. I hate being
told by my husband to lose weight.. I
feel like such a loser. He married me
skinny (well im 5'3 and weight 115 and now
im still 5'3 and about 138).. So yeah im
kinda depressed right now and want to know
if anyone else tried pilates.. Or any
other types of stuff that helps lose
weight. Please help....

I've never tried it, but would like to.
The problem is, i'd probably only do it
for a week, then quit. I know what you
mean about the weight. I still have 20
lbs. To lose from havin drew. My
husband's always like " why don't you ask
your sister to borrow her tae-bo (sp?).
That really p*sses me off and it also
hurts. My sister was slightly over
weight, but lost it all, and is now
currently 5mo. Pregnant, and has barely
gained anything. My husbands always like
"she probably won't get any stretchmarks"
and sh*t like that , I know he's just
joking, but it still hurts. Especially
seeing as he has the hots for my sister.

O my god lauren.. My husband is the same.
I have a younger sister whos 17 ( and im
1 .. Well shes like 3
inches taller tahn me and probably like 35
pounders lighter. So hes always telling
me to ask my sister how she stays so
skinny and, "oh look what kind of clothes
so can wear, and you cant cuz you have a
tummy." and it angers me off sooo bad. I
know he does have the hots for her (or
else I would hurt them both lol) but it
feels like hes constantly comparing us two
and that he wants to be like her and im
not. I told me.. Ok so im sisters hot,
beautiful, skinny, tall.. O well I dont
wannt be like her. I feel good in my own
skin.. But he wants me to go to my
pre-pregnancy and pre-marital weight
lol......
Well im trying.. But working out sucks..
I cannot be for more than a week either.
Ur suppose to do it 3 times a week.. Its
a 20 minute workout. Well I did it
saturday and monday lol.. Ill probably do
it today.. But its soo painful.. I wish
I was naturally skinny!!!!!!!!!

type really fast.. So that last post did
not make any sense. But what I was trying
to say it my husband does not have the
hots for my sis.. But he wants me to be
like her.. Which is never happening..
But im trying to lose 20 pounds for him.
So I need some help.. Have any of you
girls lost a lot of weight?? And how did

Awww ur soo lucky for being skinny.. I
mean I was always about 115-120 max from
about the age of 15-18.. But we had this
rule that my mom enforced in the house is
that noone ate after 6:00 pm. And I
believe that is the way I stayed so
skinny. But then after I got married we
started going out to late at night.. And
having snack and I gained 20 pounds in 5
months.. Its outta control.. I need help
lol............

Yeah..Don't eat after 9pm.
I went through mono and depression..When I
got depression I wouldn't eat for over
24hours..Then my b.F would get really
upset..Calm me down and make me eat.
Right now I dun eat breakfast...Larger
lunch...Usually a big salad..And sometimes
a small dinner.
I don't like being this small though.
He'd like it if I weighed a lil more
actually. So that he knows i'm okay

Innchic, what's your real name?? Anyways,
well my husband has the hots for my older
sister, she's 22, my husband is 23. I
don't know, maybe I think he does just
because htey're closer in age. And before
I became pregnant, he'd always be like
"why don't you have you sister's work
ethics?". But, he always jokes about
having sex with her and sh*t like that,
which really doesn't bother me, because I
do the same thing. He'll ask me what I
did during the day and i'll jokingly say
something like "my boyfriend came over".
It really doesn't bother me about my
sister basically because she lives 2 hours
away, and I know my husband loves me.
But about the weight thing, i'm just lazy,
i'll think to myself I need to excersise,
so I will, but then the next day I make up
excuses not to.

My advice is you have to want to lose the
weight for yourself 1st and not anyone
else! I went through a severe depression
and gained like 50 lbs in like 3 yrs and
one day just got sick of it and said ok I
gotta lose this! I worked out everyday
even though it was hard and eventually
dropped 40 pounds in like 5 months. I
gained back 20 back cuz I am lazy lol but
I plan on losing it after the baby! I
just ran and did lot's of varying
exercises pilates, yoga, tae-bo, and etc.
I also lost some going through bootcamp!!
Good luck hun and tell ur hubby to shut
up! Let him know he is not helping!
