Is It a Boy Or Girl????? Posted: 12-09-04 17:45pm
Tomorrow I get to find out if I am going
to have boy or girl!!!!! I am so excited!
I was reading this one article where it
had all this information about if you are
carring low you are going to have a boy,
or if you arent looking your best during
pregnancy you are having a girl. Have you
girls ever heard of this??? If you do, do
you believe it?

I've heared of the whole caring low thing
that its supposed to be a boy. I'm not
sure I believe it though. My friend
swears by the ring on the string technique
though. You take a ring you wear often
tie a string to it and hold it over your
stomach. You have to have a really steady
hand though. If it swings back and forth
its supposed to mean you're having a boy
and if it moves around in circles that's a
girl. Everyone has their own beliefs I
guess. As for me I usually need to see
the proof before i'll believe anything so
i'd wait and see what the u/s tells you.

I know I believe in the ring string. I've
done it on all my 8 pregnancies and
whatever the ring told is what popped out
lol good luck.. Btw
what are you hoping to have?

a Girl! Posted: 12-09-04 19:31pm
I say that but just as long as the baby is
healthy. Since the ring story has helped
you all those times I will try it !!! O
is it true whatever the moms intuition is
that will be the sex of the baby?
Your finger tips have tiny little nerve
endings in them and you can actually
control what direction the string moves in
just by concentrating on it. It would
seem then that the whole string thing
can't possibly have any credit, but
actually they say a womans subconsious
mind can actually know more than what our
consious minds do. For example, some
women dream about their babies or have
premonitions that turn out to be very
accurate. A lot of doctors even state
that a womans intuition about the growing
fetus inside her body can not be ignored.
Some women have been able to predict
miscarriages, birth defects, gender, ect.
Just by dreaming about them. If that's
the case then on a subconsious level your
mind is actually relating the signals your
body is relaying to it! Pretty cool huh?
Unfortunately there are a lot of variables
that make this test an old wives tale.
Such as a strong desire for a baby of a
certain gender, ect.
However for a really good lie detector the
string thing works great. If you ask a
friend to hold the string and ask personal
question about you. It wont take long to
find out if the person is for you or
against you. Did it once and found out a
friend of mine was hoping i'd never have a
baby and good life! To bad i'm 32 weeks
with a very healthy son and a great
husband. Have fun guys!
