Will Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo Cause My Boobs to Explode? Posted: 12-10-04 15:54pm
So about a week and a half before my
period my boobs have a hormonal rebellion.
I get what I like to call "cement boobs"
where they become as hard as, well, cement
and swell up to fill an a cup (which is a
big deal...For me). They seem to be
growing a little each month, too (which is
almost worth the soreness).
I'm starting ortho tri-cyclen lo soon and
I just was curious if any of you girls
could tell me if this is going to cause my
boobs to turn to cement and swell up like
crazy. Just from your personal
experiences and educated guesses...Thanks!

Yes your boobs will grow no they will not
explode I just got off of ortho lo its
been 5 days and they are not so sore right
now but they were really sore yesterday
and I did just start my menst 2 days
before I was supposed to so that might be
why they still are

Mine grew a little bit, not a whole lot.
They're still sore right before my period,
like usual... No cement syndrom though...
Maybe you should ask your doctor about
that...

I just started ortho tri-cyclen lo about
two weeks ago and my boobs have "exploded"
too, as you put it. They're kind of small
to start, so its probably not a big
difference, but they seem huge. I had the
same thing happening before my period
before I started the pill, too, so I
wasn't terribly surprised when this
happened. Its just a pain that it appears
to be a perminant thing now. So I guess
if its an abonormal thing, you're not the
only one.
On the plus side, I think the ortho
tri-cyclen lo is supposed to be a lot
lower hormone dose, so maybe you won't
keep having the problem when you switch.
