Hey Everyone..... Posted: 12-11-04 13:04pm
I am waaaaaay confused about what my body
is going through. I have a couple of
questions....
1. My last period was in the middle of
october. I stopped the patch due to an
insurance swap. Now the insurance I have
is crappy when it comes to gyno. Appts.
And maternity. Does anyone know of an
insurance prefferably w/ a short maternity
waiting list?!
2. Throughout the month of november I had
no period.(i'm figuring because of my b/c
not regulating my period.) during this
time, me and my fiance were making love
without protection, but he never came
inside me. Now, about a week and a half
ago he did. Because of the "cream" of
ovulation, I kind of figured I was
ovulating.
My period usually brings along the sore
boobs, extreeme cramps and a lot of blood.
Almost like i'm hemmoriging . Well, as I
posted, on the 4th I woke up and there was
almost like a chocolate colored substance
coming out. 2 days later it kind of got
brighter, but still brown. No cramps, no
sore boobs, no nothing. I stopped
bleeding on the 9th. These are not the
dates of my "normal period." i'm not sure
on how far along I would be if I were to
be preggy, so I am not to keen on what
kind of symptoms I would be having. Any
advice.
3. If one becomes preggy would an extreem
weight fluxuation occur?! I was 135 in
october. Now I am only 120. I'm not to
hungry at all. For me, that's odd.
thank you to everyone who has helped me
and who continues to help me. I am 18 and
starting college in april. I just really
don't know what to do. I'm on myy way to
the store to buy a pg. Test. I dont know
what I want the outcome to be. I really
need some support!!!

Hi, it is very hard to tell, because
cycles which are usually regulated by bcp
are (most of the time) a mess (sometimes
for months, depending on the woman) once
off the pill.
The fact that you've lost weight rings
"alarm bells" in my head - i've lost 10
lbs during my first two months of
pregnancy... But you might have lost
weight due to stop taking the bcp. That
is possible too. But since your breasts
are sore before you start menstruating
anyways, this is not a clear sign of
pregnancy. Mine usually weren't sore
before menstruation, that's why having
sore breast suddenly was a clear sign that
I am pregnant.
Well, definitely take the test, it will
bring you clarity. But keep in mind that
just - off - the - pill cycles are
unpredictable!
Wishing you all the best

I was on the patch for only like 6 months.
And everything was gravy and then I guess
it made me ovulate for the whole month I
didnt wear one.
Man, I don't know...I just have to test
and see.

Cheap Tests.... Posted: 12-13-04 22:18pm
Well, I went to the dollar store and
bought some .99cent pg. Tests. After
only having to srop 4 small drops of urine
into a hole, I got 2 neg. Results. After
reading the box it said "for in-vitro
only." what should I think about that.
There is still no bleeding and no signs of
anything. Period or pregnancy. I still
don't know what's going on with my
insurance so I might have to wait until
christmas to save for a doc. Visit. But
what if i'm not pg. And i'm messing
something up?! Yikes..I'm in a bind yall.
Sorry hun I wish we could put your mind at
ease! Try planned parenthood or something
like that. They base the price on a
sliding scale based on your income! It
sounds like you may be pregnant but I know
when I got of the pill to switch to the
patch I didn't have a period for over a
month and the started on a totally
different day then usual and it satyed
on/around that date until I got pregnant
on it lol!! If you need anything else let
me know!
