Hi all,

well i'm online now. We just moved house, never again!!!! Quick question, can coming off the pill change your period? As in, when I was on the pill, my blood was red and thick and normal. We are ttc and i'm assuming this month wasnt our turn coz i'm due today for af but it's like a bright pink and really thin. Is that normal? I thought about implantation bleeding but that normally comes a couple of days before your af???

I'm assuming it's just af??? Sad

the pill regulates the timing and intensity of your period. Both can be off the "normal" pill-regulated cycle when you stop the pill.

Oh yes, after getting off the pill your period can take almost up to six months to return to normal. Usually getting pregnant right after stopping the pill is pretty easy. They say it takes a while ot get out of your system. Most of the people I know after getting off the pill it takes on average about 2 month to get back on some sort of a normal cycle

Thanks everyone!!! Well it's definately af, obviously just needed to give it a couple hours. I guess one good thing, at least I know i'm regular and every 28 days! I had a bad feeling I wouldnt get it on time coz i've just come off. Would this mean that i'm going to/should have a normal cycle from now on???
