depends on the drug. Read the label. Tylenol is safe, ibuprofen can give problems, fe.X.

And if you try to get pregnant, please take folate, at leats 1 mg per day (prevents spina bifida and other similar problems)

Go to your local pharmacy and he/she can tell you exactly were it's at. Folic acid is what its called. Doctors tell women who are trying to get pregnant to take it.

I got this from my doc. Hope it helps. This is if you are already pregnant. If you're ttc and arent' sure if you're pregnant yet, use this just to be safe. Actually I copied and pasted from another girl I posted to who had a cold, so I can let you know about any other otc meds for other reasons. I'm just not sure which drug you are specifically asking about.

Cold remedies:

always check over-the-counter cold medications for alcohol, sugar, caffeine, or aspirin. All medications should be taken as directed and for no longer than 7 days. If symptoms persist, call the office.

- sudafed, sudafed plus tablets, liquid sudafed, sudafed 12 hour
- benadryl tablet, capsules, liquid
- benadryl plus
- chlor-trimeton, chlor-trimeton la
- allerest
- allergy relief medicine (arm)
- comtrex

- sinutab, extra strength, maximum strength (not sinutab allergy)
- triaminic, triaminic cold, nite lite, syrup, pm, 12 hour
