Hi Smile could someone tell me what goes on during the first appointment for the doctor? I'm in my 10th week. Will I be hearing the baby's heart? I'm just asking because my appointment is tomorrow. Thanks! I'm so excited Smile

I had my forst appointment when I was 8 weeks and all I had to do was fill out a whole bunch of papers about me and my family history and stuff like that...Then I talked to the doctor and he estimated my due date which was july 14, 2005 and the he did an ultrasound which said my due date was july 12 so close enough...I didnt get to hear the heartbeat bu I seen it beating....Be prepared to cry or at least get emotional....

Hahah that's so weird. My due date is july 14th 2005 also Smile this was an estimate they gave me when I was 6 weeks Smile thanks for the info. I think the procedure is a little different in canada though. I don't think I get an ultrasound until i'm 20 weeks. Not sure though.

Your first appt. Is a whole bunch of paper work, blood work, background on you and your family health oh and the fathers side to. And if they can hear the heart beat they will. Pap smear if you havent had one recently
good luck
