I have a friend and she think she is
pregnant. She has all the symptoms
except she is still getting her period.
Is it possible she is pregnant?? When she
got her period she got no cramps at all
with it and it last like 2 days then had
spotting for 2 days. We are best friends
and I know her and that isn't normal for
her.

Possible
some women do get period like bleeds
during pregnancy.
However, she could need medical treatment
if she is pregnant.
Bleeding can be caused by the placenta
coming away from the uterus, which can
cause miscarriage.
If that is not the cause of the bleeding
she still needs to see a doctor to
determine the cause of bleeding.
Also if pregnant she needs pre-natal care,
vitamins etc.
The best first thing to do is get her to
take a pregnancy test.
If she is pregnant, ignoring it will not
make it go away and she could end up very
poorly.
Please get her to test if you can.

Omg..... Sorry to vent but cmon now lets
be serious. Im telling you girls some of
you either want to be pregnant sooooo or
ur forcing yourself to believe that ur
having these weird symptoms. If she is
getting her period than of course shes not
pregnant. Thats pretty much a no
brainer... I mean how if the fetus/baby
suppose to survive if all the lining
(whats keeping the baby comfy, safe and
growing..) is shedding! Girls now cmon be
a little more serious. Dont make urself
sick over "am I pregnant???"
if you had sex (protected or unprotected
you put yourself at risk for becming
pregnant and its a 50/50 chance. If you
have sex during your period, a few days
before your period is suppose to come or a
few days after than theres only a small
chance.) but bottom line is if you have or
had sex you may be pregnant. Also... If
you are late on your period go buy a
freakin test the day your period is
suppose to be due. If your not late on
your period yet, then there is not much
you can do but wait.
Im not sure about you guys but im getting
kinda sick of girls who had sex 2 days ago
and come on here asking if they might be
preggo... Or for someone who hasnt had
their period in 2 months and also ask...
I mean use common sense. Dont make urself
sick worrying just go to dollar tree and
buy a test. Its not hard..............

...........
I know some of you may attack me right now
but many girls here are acting very
immature about this. You pretty much have
two choices... Dont have sex.. And not
worry about pregnancy.. Or have sex (pls
use protection) and then test asap when
your period is late... Thats it.. Its
that simple.

Ummmmmmmmmm honestly, you actually can
have period like bleeds during your
pregnancy.
Even if she isn't pregnant, her doctor can
hopefully find out what is causing her
pregnancy like symptoms.
Harmless ovarian cysts can cause pregnancy
like symptoms even.
So either way pregnant or not if she is
having pregnancy symptoms and apparent
periods she should get checked out.
Meg will you go with her for moral
support???

Innchik- you can actually get period like
bleeding during pregnancy. It can be
spotting or as heavy as a light period.
Do a search on google.
Meg- I am glad you made an appointment to
get tested. It the only way to know for
sure, I wish you the best of luck!

She would be 11 weeks. She is nauseous
all the time except from like 10 to 11 in
the morning because that is when we eat
lunch. Her boobs hurt. She has to pee
all the time. Soooo moody. It is hard
to get along with her sometime because she
goes from crying to happy to angry within
like 5 minutes. Her stomach is kind of
bloated to you can tell looking at her
something is wrong. And there is also
headaches, lightheadedness and fatigue.
Yes the same as me. I would be okay with
her being preggo then we could raise our
babies together.

It wouldnt be the typical period
though.......
It may be spotting.. Or brownish blood..
Bad cramps with some on and off bleeding..
But its not possible to have a normal
(3-5 day) continuing flow period. I just
had a miscarriage and go to my doc every
other day for check-ups cuz shes
monitoring my hcg levels.. But anyways I
asked her cuz I had that before and she
explained to me that the only way ur
bleeding if ur pregnant is if ur having
really bad cramps and that means you might
be miscarrying or the placenta has
dettached itself from the lining or anothe
complication..But it comes with a lotttt
of pain and believe me in those cases you
would probably be in the emergency room
within hours....

Im sorry you guys understood me
wrong.......
I got my point proven when meg replied
that she would be 11 weeks.
Why worry urself sick when she could have
taken a pregnancy test like 2 months
ago.. Thats what I dont understand.
I promise im trying to be supportive and
im soo glad that you guys made an
appointment...Its just I work in a
hospital up in family birth place ..And I
see the consequences many moms have to go
through because they did not seek medical
help when they suspected they were
pregnant. You girls need to be on
pre-natal vitamins from day 1 because in
the first 12 weeks is when all the organs
including the heart and brain develope.
The baby needs all the vitamins it can get
in that crucial time period. And some
girls dont go to their doc until their
like 14-16 weeks pregnant. So basically
what I was trying to say is if you put
urself in risk to become pregnant it is
your responsibility to test asap and go
get medical attention right away to
prevent any birth defects.

I am going to the doctor but I didn't
think about her and I thought she just
had the flu and but it hasn't gone away
yet so I am thinking it isn't the flu.

Same as who??
I just had a hysterectomy that means no
uterus that means no period. I still
have perfectly normal periods!!!!!!!!!
Exactly the same as before my
hysterectomy.
There are exceptions to every rule.
You can have period like bleeds during
pregnancy.
No they will not be official periods,
sometimes it could be from some
endometrial lining outside the cervix -
there are a million and one reasons.
Not everyone has pain, everyone is
different.
Gee if we take me as an example I was
walking round for 3 weeks with a ruptured
uterus and a belly full of blood and
amniotic fluid and my baby still had a
heartbeat even though the uterus ruptured
through at the placenta.
Technically I should have been dead, but
as I am typing this we will assume I am
not.
Innchik - i'm sorry you miscarried but not
every one miscarries the same.
Some people are in agony, some just seem
to have a heavy period.

Meg- hun seriously pls take her to the doc
with you. Im not trying to scare you
guys.. But if she really is pregnant and
bleeding than that might not be good. She
really needs a doctor to check her out..
Take her blood.. Do a pelvic exam..
Possibly an ultrasound.. Just to make
sure everything is ok...
Keep us posted cuz this is a tricky
subject and none of us really know the
answer. I mean anything is possible when
you think about it that way.. But noone
knows the answers.. So it would be best
if you went and got professional
help...Sorry if I hurt you.. I promise I
was not aiming at anyone specifically just
to everyone in genderal...And if I said
anything hurtful im sorry... I wish you
both luck...
