One Quick ?
Posted: 12-18-04 17:54pm

I missed my period in oct but got it in november.

My sister thinks i'm pregnany because monday I passed out and went into convolsions. The hospital didn't do any tests. Doc said he had " no reason to, that I was just dehydrated( just from looking down my throat Shocked Confused )" and just sent me home after my bloodsugar was back to normal.

You can't miss a period then have it the next month if your preggo, right Confused ?

Why does she think you're pregnant because you passed out and had convulsions? I didn't realize that was a pregnancy symptom.

She thinks i'm preggo....Well because she always thinks it. & the reason she thinks it cuz of me passing out & going into convolsions is because lacking needed nutrients during pregnancy can cause you to collapse & possible go into convolsions.

Is it possible to skip a period & have one the next month while pregnant, is what i'm wondering. If you ask me i'd have to say no. But i'd rather get some input on someone who is/ has been preggo.

Well that happened to michelle, so I guess it's possible, it just isn't the norm. Convulsions during pregnancy are caused by low amounts of oxygen and nutrients being provided to the fetus, but what causes that is called toxemia or preeclampsia and you can't get that until the second half of your pregnancy.

Convulsions? Um, probably not a pregnancy symptom. Why does she think you are always pregnant? The question is...Do you think you are pregnant? Who cares what someone else thinks, its your body and only you know best. If you had your period you probably are not pregnant, but if you are you would get a positive by now. Test so you dont have to worry.

I would go to the doctor and #1 find out if you're pregnant and #2 find out why you we're having convulsions
