I Witnessed a Live Birth !!!!!!

.On
.Saturday at 2:25 am my friend gave birth
to her daughter .Erica 5 pounds 4 ounces.
She delivered at 5 cm. No cuts, stitches
or rips. She only screamed during pushing
when they told her to wait a sec, but
everything else went smoothly.
I went to see her saturday morning at 8 am
this girl is cutting her toe nails. I am
so freaking mad but thankful that both she
and the baby are healthy and doing well.

I was about to say...You don't even have
the urge to push at 5cm.

.She had
a preemie!. So she delivered at 5cm, and
the baby was able to fit. She was due
january 9th, 2005.

I was 10cm and ripped too and my daugher
was 6lbs 9 oz. My friend had a 5lb baby
and by the looks of him he'd be to big to
deliver at 5cm. Why didn't they wait till
she was 10?

I think anything under 38 weeks is
considered premature

I thought it was anything under 36
weeks?
Because I went into premature labor and
they had to fly me out of my small town
because they don't have a nicu and they
said I couldn't go home until I was 36
weeks because thats when they're not
considered preemies
