I am a little nervous. I have not had a
menstraul cycle for over two months now.
I have taken two pregnancy test and they
both came back negative. I took one
about two weeks after my cycle was due and
then I took another about a week after
that. I have headaches, lower backaches,
my breast are swollen, my nipples hurt, I
feel like I have a weight in my lower
abdomen, I am tired all the time, and I
have been really moody lately. I cry a
stupid things and then two minutes later I
am fussing about something that is not
even that important. By looking at my
dates I had sex with my husband exactly
two weeks before my cycle came on. When
it did come on it only lasted a day and it
was very lite. That was in august. I
thought stress might be a factor, but
usually when I am stressed and miss a
month it will come on the beginning of the
next month. What do you think I should
do?

Dear monet,
i think you need to make an appointment
with your doctor and request a blood test.
The symptoms you are experiencing do
sound like you could possibly be pregnant,
but the only way to know for sure is to
get a blood test done. Common symptoms in
pregnancy are tiredness, nausea, sore or
tender breasts, sensitive nipples and
frequent urination. Some women do have
implantation bleeding about 3 - 11 days
after conception which is the egg
atatching itself to the lining of the
uterus, which should only be very light
and only last a day or so. If you had sex
with your husband exactly 2 weeks before
your period was due, then there is a very
good chance you were very fertile at that
time, or ovulating.
Good luck...

I think you should go get a blood test. I
had a friend who took home pregnancy tests
all the way up to 9 months and it always
said negative because the hormone in her
body was not strong enough to react on the
test. Best of luck ~melissa
