I like the girls name kylia(h) (ky-lee-ah) kylie for short. It is native american for "narrow land" it's actually spelled without the "h" but I love ah named with an h.

I like the name francis. It's not really funky, but you can call her frankie for short, which I think is adorable

Eventually when my husband and I have children we decided that if we have a girl we are going to name her tarna lynn or ann. What does everyone think

Weird Baby Names
My cousin's baby was named "brianna april" until the daddy came back in the picture (for about a day) and wanted her to have his last name. So my cousin got the papers and he filled them out... All except brianna's name. He hadn't put down any of it. Well when he took off again, (never to be seen) my cousin decided she wasn't going to put up with his crap. She changed her baby's name to brianna leilani and left her last name (the same as bri's mommy!). I was like, "way to go, nancy!"

so yeah, the point of that story was leilani is a cool name.

I also like:

myleiah or myleigha
gemma (or janna, after my grandma)
winifred
terin
francesca
sharlee (i know a girl named that).
Maeryn
ainsleigh
maemi (it's japanese, but mei mei is chinese for "little sister")
paisley

for boys:

bright
remy
rowan
parley (after a famous mormon dude)

finally, I know a little girl named lexann. Her dad is an engineer, and when he found out they were pregnant again (5th child) he was like, "if it's a girl we have to name her lexann!" apparently it's a plastic that is very popular among the engineering community.

Well Duh!
Kids are cruel. No matter what name the kid has, they'll be teased. I don't see you posting any that are fool-proof.

I think marius is a funky name for a guy. I watch queen of the damned too much yes, but I think it has a really smooth tone. Say it out loud. Trust me, it's hot.

I've been thinking of the name "parley" lately. It's weird and way uncommon. It means something to me though, because it's one of the important people of nauvoo back in the day when the mormons were being mobbed-out of their own town.
