Q: Sore Throat

For three days i've had this sore throat and it seems to be getting worse and worse. I am hardly able to swallow and can only talk at a minimum (much to the joy of my husband). My ears also hurt when I swallow and talk. I don't know if there is anything I can do. I am drinking tea, but I don't want to drink too much of it. I am also drinking water and flat ginger ale. Has anybody ever had a sore throat while pregnant before? And what did you take or can you take to make it better. If its this severe should I go to the doctors?

Thanks girls

steph

Go to the doctors hun you could have strep and you could only take an antibiotic to get rid of it. What your doing is okay but its not going to go away.

I had the exact same thing. You need to go to the doc. He gave me 10 days of antibiotic. Drink decaf hot green tea and take sore throat losengers. My pharmacist recomended this and also said gargle with warm salt water (it really does work)
