Q: Eye Color In Children

So I recently had a child with my boyfriend. Our son came out with his blue eyes and dark blonde hair, even in spite of my hispanic genes. He's adorable, but it left me wondering about his daughter from a previous relationship. Her mother has brown hair and eyes, as does their daughter. I always just believed that she was his, because I always thought that brown hair and eyes were dominant, but after seeing how strong his genes are i'm really confused. Do you think that I should ask him to get a paternity test? Or is it likely that she is his child?

Genes are so crazy. You never know what's going to be dominant. If he's not questioning it, I don't think you should.

I would leave it up to him.. If he has doubts then let him make that decision. You can ask him if he has ever had doubts... But every child is different
