I have been on the depo now for six months, always had a regular 29 day cycle. My last period was on the 22nd day of november. I was supposed to get my period on the 17th of december. I have not gotton it yet. The thing I am worried about is being prego with the shot. I heard you can have an etopic pregnancy and premature birth. I did test once a week ago and I got a neg. But if it were etopic then I would have to wait a lot longer for the pregnancy hormone to appear. I am just wondering if anyone here ever got pregnant on the depo and how probrable it is. Thanks.

I got preggo on the depo and I didnt find out until I was almost 8 weeks. The first 2 blood test said neg. The 3 blood test came back positive. There was nothing wrong with the baby though. The doctors just kept close eye on me for the first 4 months

I'm on depo and i've been on it for over a year.. So far no preggers that I know of. I haven't had a period since i've been on it.. The only bad thing about that is when people ask me when my last perioid was, I tell them and they look at me like i'm crazy.
