Ive just been researching on the net the effects of being on high blood pressure tablets while trying to concieve. My partner has been on high blood pressure tablets since he was 10 and it is under control with help from meds , but the articles I was reading say that there is a huge chance that he will be infertile while ever he is on these meds ........I am so scared.....
His dr has never said anything to him about not being able to have children, I havent told him about this information yet , do u think I should? I dont want to worry him , after all not all that u read on the net is correct but I really think he should go and see if there is a problem or not before we get too far into ttc and realise that its because of his meds?

This is just my suggestion, but tell him your conserns. If you have been trying for a long period of time, and still haven't had any luck it is always good to know. It took my husband and I a year and a half to concieve.
Good luck

Talk to your hubby, talk to your Dr., he can always get a sperm check.
The best to you both!

I would discuss this with him and your doc... I dont think that the meds for blood pressure will have anything to do with it. My so called dad is 50yrs old and he just had a son. He has been on meds since I was little and im 28. So I dont think that it would effect anything but once again im no doctor
