Taking the Pill When I Am Unsure! Posted: 12-27-04 23:19pm
I am over a week late. I have taken
several test but all of them have come up
neg. We were not trying and this is the
first I have been on birth control. My
son is only 8months. I am not sure how
long to wait or if I should keep taking my
pills???? I don't want to stop for fear
of getting pregnant, but I also don't want
to hurt my baby if there is one. The pill
packet says to take until you are sure!
What to do???? Any advice? :(

They wouldn't put it on the package if
they weren't sure you could keep taking it
in early pregnancy. Follow what the
package says. If you still don't trust
it, just call your doc.

It is ok to continue taking the pill.
Wait another week and if you still havent
started go see a doc. Or test again.....
Sometimes when there is change or stress
your period can be delayed, oh and some
people stop having a period on bc......

Hey I used to be on the pill. And mine
said on the instructions that only worry
and visit your doc after you have missed
two periods. Sometimes it just
happens.Also if its the pils I was on then
you only have a 7 day break for your af to
show up in, if it doesnt then carry on as
you would and wait till your next break.
